Hello, I am writing about my experience and recipe for elderberry peppermint tea. Enjoy!
ITEMS NEEDED: 1 part - Elderberry 1 part - Peppermint Honey (to taste) Mug Towel Warm Clothing (sweat shirt and pants, socks etc) Blanket INSTRUCTIONS: I take (1-2) elderberry/peppermint tea bag, or fill a tea ball with equal parts of elderberry and peppermint herbs and place into mug. Boil water in a pot. Remove from heat and pour water into mug. Let steep for 15-20 minutes. While steeping, get warm clothing (sweat pants, sweat shirt, socks etc) together and blanket. And place in bathroom. After the 15-20 minutes is up....Squeeze tea bag, removing trapped liquid in bag, and remove from mug. Caution Hot! Add Honey to taste, stir Go to the bathroom and shut the door to keep heat in. Run bath water as hot as you can stand it, sip on tea. Stay in bathtub for at least 20-30 minutes. NOTE: You want it hot and you will be sweating! It's important to sweat it out. Not to hot that you get faint or dizzy. When the time is up...get out of tub and dry off with towel. Get dressed. Wrap up in the blanket and take a nap. ** The reason I want to sweat is to help my body raise it's body temperature. A fever is the bodies natural defense against infection etc. by raising body temperature it increases your white blood cells (which are part of the body's immune system). So, I am helping and working with my body to raise its temperature. TESTIMONIAL: Years ago, there was a sickness going around and it lasted for about a week to a week and a half. My dad asked me if I wanted to try some herbal tea. I did as instructed above and when I woke up from my nap I was completely fine. So what lasted everyone else over a week....I was sick for approx. 3 hours. Just recently I witnessed the same experience with someone I know. They did as written above that night and I contacted them the next morning and I asked how they were doing and their response was "I'm fine!" "...and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine." Ezekiel 47:12 DISCLAIMER: THESE STATEMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN EVALUATED BY THE FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION.
